Master of Intrigue and Spooks!

Stephen King is a master of suspense. He has been my favorite author since I was in junior high. The very first Stephen King book I ever read was Four Seasons. I was hooked reading the first short story. My favorite "season" in that book was spring. That was The Body (Penguin Readers: Level 5) . It was scary but what really got me the friendship of the boys. It was a wonderful mix of scary and sweet optimism.

My second favorite book by Stephen King is The Stand: Expanded Edition: For the First Time Complete and Uncut (Signet). It was so scary to read because everyone around me at the time was getting a cold.It was freaky and made me keep watching to see if the "colds" would get worse. It so intensified the book. The new extended version is going to be so much fun to read. See what new things are in it and what new twist Stephen King has come up with. Since it's fall, close to Halloween and the start of the flu season will make the book even better. I couldn't ask for a better book to read right now.

Except maybe Stephen King's new novel. It looks to be a page turner. It will be number one on my Christmas list. You can pre-order it from Amazon.com by using the link below. Make that special someone's Christmas day even better by giving them the book that will give them a chill!
